Our AI-for-retail team, WAIR, is looking for reinforcement on the backend front. Are you ready for the task?
Help us build the backend that powers WAIR: the intelligent solution-suite for challenges in the retail branch.

You will play a key role in delivering value by designing, implementing, launching, and maintaining highly scalable components to support our core AI competency. All this in a dynamic, young and ambitious product team, at a pivotal moment of transitioning from a startup phase to a scaleup phase.

We provide our clients with a variety of services, which include but are not limited to sales forecasting, visual asset inspection, visual online recommendation, content-based search, and many more.

We ask for

  • A strong foundation in computer science
  • Strong proficiency in Python
  • Knowledge of relational and document databases
  • Experience with Docker
  • Scalable, reusable, readable, reliable, and well-documented code
  • Experience in enterprise software development
  • A relevant completed higher education
  • An attitude of taking responsibility and ownership
  • An interest in the application of ML technologies
  • Experience with designing and implementing RESTful web APIs
  • A sense of humor and a desire to interact with people

Nice to haves

  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Prior experience working with machine learning systems
  • Experience with queues and/or event-based systems
  • Experience in the retail business
  • Experience with distributed systems and microservices
  • Experience with workflow software like Dagster or Kubeflow
